Motus Insurance Services (“Motus”) is a wholesale insurance broker. We were founded in 2017 to provide a new line of insurance products specifically designed around the needs of common interest development (condominium) owners. As a wholesale broker, we sell our product through appointed retail insurance brokers who also specialize in the needs of condominiums. As a broker we are legally obligated to work in the consumer’s best interests rather than the insurance company’s best interest.
Founder and CEO
Dan Wallis founded Motus Insurance Services and is the co-inventor and mastermind behind the Common Interest Development Unit-owners policy that finally allows condominium owners to access an earthquake product with underwriting precision and expanded coverage tailored to the unique exposures of each specific association. Daniel continues to work with Motus’ underwriting partners and insurance carriers to alter and improve our product offerings.
Dan Wallis has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and is a third generation insurance professional. Before starting Motus Insurance Services, Dan, was the Vice President of Wallis & Wallis Insurance Brokerage, a family run brokerage that specializes in the needs of
